Iași's leading tech and business conference
Digital Innovation Zone Conference 4.0 is Iași's premier annual gathering for tech professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators.
Organized by the Digital Innovation Zone community, the conference brings together 600 participants to explore emerging technologies, hear from industry leaders, and forge meaningful B2B connections.

Manual check-ins and paper badges slowing everything down
At previous editions, organizers relied on paper lists for check-in — a slow, error-prone process that created queues and frustration at the entrance.
Name badges were hand-written with markers, which looked unprofessional and contained none of the information attendees actually needed to connect with each other. B2B matchmaking happened by chance rather than by design.

Smart badges, automated check-in, and a full networking stack
Cardneto replaced the entire manual workflow. Attendees received a QR code by email that served as their digital ticket — scanned instantly at the door for a seamless check-in experience.
Professional badge stickers were printed on-site, each featuring the attendee's name, company, and a personal QR code linked to their in-app profile. The networking app provided contact exchange, a meeting booking feature, the full event agenda, and real-time analytics for the organizers.
1,000+ connections exchanged and 50 meetings booked
The switch to digital check-in eliminated entrance queues and gave organizers full visibility into attendance in real time.
500 attendees downloaded the app and used it to exchange over 1,000 contacts throughout the day. The meeting booking feature enabled 50 structured B2B meetings — conversations that previously would never have been arranged.
